"My husband and I just moved to the area and after doing much research on the various options, chose Tempe Lake for the flexible hours and the comfort of boarding our dog at the same place where she receives veterinary services. The office was prompt with their response to my email and allowed us to come in and take a tour of the boarding facilities. We came by today and Tanya assisted us. She was patient and kind- answering all of our questions thoroughly and asking other staff for information she didn’t know. She took the time to gather all of our information and made sure we were prepared for our upcoming visits. We haven’t even brought our dog by yet and we already feel very welcome and confident in our choice. Thank you Tanya!"

Irrespective of the much more palatable prices quoted, everyone was friendly and communicated clearly what was needed for our girl. I board my two cats, Bear and Kacie, in the luxury cat villas and they love them! The staff let me set up their little room with toys, bowls and blankets to help my cats feel comfortable and safe while in their care. The price is a little high for boarding, but I think it’s totally worth it because of the quality care and large cat spaces."

"Dr. Capria is my main vet for my two cats, Matilda and Leo, and I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. I’ve seen two other vets in the practice too and they all communicate so well with each other, which makes a huge difference.What really sets this place apart is how thorough the visits are. You actually sit down with the vet, in the room and talk through everything. At every other office I’ve been to, you barely see the vet and then get a quick phone call after the appointment. Here it’s the opposite. They take their time, explain everything, and answer every question. Matilda’s dental surgery and Leo’s ear issues have both been handled with so much care. Fair prices, honest answers, and a team that genuinely loves what they do. Text messages and app is very helpful ans well. They are opened 7 days a week! I also have the membership for my two new cats and wow, I saved soooo much money just with in house membership. Highly recommend!"

"I cannot say enough good things about Tempe Lake Veterinary Clinic and the care they showed us during one of the hardest days of our lives.
From our first visit, the compassion was evident. Our vet tech, Janissa, was incredibly patient and gentle with Wrigley, allowing him to sniff her tools and move at his own pace while taking his vitals - it immediately put us at ease. Dr. Denlinger was equally wonderful, she carefully explained our options, answered every question, and reassured us repeatedly that this was nothing we could have caused or prevented. We never once felt rushed and were given time and space to process everything.
On the day we said goodbye, the entire staff was prepared and so kind. We were escorted directly to a private room, given a small comfort bag, and treated with such care and respect. Janissa walked us through every step, stayed with us, and showed so much love to Wrigley. Both she and Dr. Denlinger cried with us, shared memories, and honored him in the most compassionate way.
This clinic made an unbearable situation as peaceful and loving as it could possibly be. We will forever be grateful to Janissa, Dr. Denlinger, and the entire staff for the dignity, empathy, and kindness they showed our family and our sweet boy."

"I've been taking my dogs here for over a decade for all their veteranary needs and adore all of the staff. All the staff who work in the front office have always been friendly from the moment I step through the door until we leave and the vet techs and doctors are amazing. Over the years my dogs have been seen by both Dr. Oa and Dr. Lockhart. Both of these veteranarians are kind, gentle and extremely thorough during the examinations with my fur babies. They both have WONDERFUL bedside manners, and take all the time needed to address all of your questions and concerns. I've even received phone calls well after their closing time to review test results and discuss how my fur babies are doing! I very recently referred a friend here who is extremely protective over who she will allow her16 year old chihuahua to be seen by, and she LOVED Dr. Oa!
